BUT WE ROSE TO THE OCCASION AND HAVE THEIR WELL BEING IN OUR HEARTS.  GOD BLESS THEM!

Vietnam Veterans Day Services at Doane Memorial starting 11:00 sharp! Good turn out of members!

2^nd Annual Stephen H. Doane Dinner Dance to raise money for our Scholarship Fund to allow us to offer to worthy recipients of Veterans.  To be held this year at the Vittori Rocci Post 18:30 – Beverly  Excellent showing/great last minute guest speaker replacements/good time had by all.

Thank You American Legion for last years successful kick off to Honor and raise money for this worthy cause.

This meeting has been scheduled for a Tuesday 8 January instead of the normal Wednesday 2 January due to conflicts with Commander and expected hangovers.  Important meeting because some very big announcements may be in hand for the planned Doane Dinner Dance scheduled above.

November 11 6 PM meet at fish store on Beverly side of Bridge.  Beverly Police to block off one lane going into Salem so we can march and form there.

Flashlight/Flag Vigil Veterans Memorial BRIDGE (Beverly/Salem Bridge!!!!)  Peaceniks make a hole!  This is to show our support for the troops, our President and our Country.

Salem Vets, Beverly Vets, all vets and a Rolling Thunder Chapter from N.H. are coming together we hope with civilians to shine the light on freedom.    Lets span the entire bridge!  Let’s show how proud we are to be Free and Proud Americans.  People are putting their lives on the line for you….lets get out there and support them and show we appreciate what they are doing for us!  PEOPLE ARE DYING FOLKS AND WE ARE AT WAR..do your part!  If they’ll die for you please come out and show them we know what they are doing for us..This great Country wasn’t built on peace demonstrations…it was built on fighting in what we believe in.  We fight for our Great Country, our People and our Freedoms and the Freedoms of the World.  If someone needs our help we are always there..so please be there yourselves for the ones that fight our battles.  We did it thanks to the citizens of Beverly..see Related Salem News article on our website.

March in Southie M Street Park Re-dedication Memorial Park. Excellent crowd, Hero’s handshakes, Mister Maya etc.  great food at the Galley Diner on P Street..if only I could find my way back!

Rescheduled Fund Raiser Bottle Drive. Rescheduled again…can drive by kids that w/e – City Hall messed up this time.

R&R at Bruno's Getaway. (Leland's for those of you who can't read the cockpit name) Fishing, canoeing, hiking and sitting in front of the camp fire.  All of the above…great time had by all! What a HOST

(Sat) Tom R. needs help filling in mothers pool…bobcat will be present..call us we will be there!  Bobcat almost became fill a couple of times but the expert drivers and damn luck made for a great day.  Sirloin strip steaks/baked potato/ salad and beer….add in the heat and we had a great day!

(Fri) North Shore Music Theater Color Guard and display table.  It was crying time in the house.  Great show – vivid flashbacks for some – new respect for Vietnam Vets!
