CONSTITUTION BY-LAWS

Principles:  Patriotic allegiance to the United States of America; fidelity to its Constitution and laws; the security of civil liberty, and the continuing ability to maintain free institutions.

ARTICLE #1 PURPOSES:

Section 1:  To help, encourage and promote the improvement of conditions among Vietnam and Era Veterans.

Section 2:  To help Vietnam and Era Veterans and their families in any way possible.

Section 3:  To make contact within the Veterans Administration and through government channels to help Vietnam and Era Veterans filing for disability claims, medical help, employment, Agent Orange and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Section 4:  To keep abreast of any legislation of rules and regulations that may be proposed at local, state and federal levels that may affect the social, economical, educational and general welfare of the Vietnam and Era Veteran.

Section 5:  To conduct and publish research on a non-partisan basis, pertaining to the Vietnam War Experience, and the relationship between Vietnam Veterans and the American society.

Section 6:  To support and, or assist any person(s) or organization(s) that come forward to show their special concern and support for the Vietnam and Era Veteran.

Section 7:  The Beverly Vietnam Veterans, Inc., Post #1 supports the families of American prisoners of war and missing in action of all wars.
