Pre-Doane Dinner/Dance Fund Raiser started back in 1992

 

       We celebrated, prayed, ate as a group of fellow Veterans from different era’s who came together to fulfill a quest the Beverly Vietnam Veterans were about to go on.

Our quest:  To one day send off deserving students to College with the Memory of Stephen H. Doane’s sacrifice and the blessing of the Beverly Vietnam Veterans.

The Vittori Rocci Post an ITAM post sponsored the first such fundraiser allowing us over the years to build up our funds and make the 1^st LT Stephen H. Doane Dinner/Dance and Scholarship giveaway a reality.

Our first official Dinner/Dance was held at The Spear Post an American Legion Post.  Because of its popularity we had to move them to the Vittori Rocci from than on because we needed a bigger hall.

 We have a long way to go to make it self-sufficient but we are getting there and checking the scholarship section of our website can see the ‘well deserved’ recipients.
